Mr. Peck was born Oct. 7, 1952, in Arkansas City. He had served in the U.S. Peace Corp in Morocco as an English instructor and was a substitute teacher in St. Paul, Minn., schools and for alternative education with Sister Giovani at the Guadalupe Program.

Survivors include his parents, Wendall Ray and Lorna, of White Bear Lake, Minn.; three brothers, Grant of White Bear Lake, Gregory of Baldwin, Wis., and Jeffrey Peck and wife Kathleen Farrell of Los Altos, Calif.; a nephew, Nicholas “Nico”; five nieces, Ancela Lacis and husband Andrew, Erica Grace-Saunders, Kristin Larson and husband Eric, Jessica McElroy and husband Travis and Nicolle “Coco” Farrell; five aunts, Ruth Morray, Vera Meyer, Alma Kretzfchmar, Ella Dier and husband Rolland and Della Hendrickson and husband Hugo; and two uncles, Walter Heine and wife Irene and Courtney Hanzlicek.

A memorial service will beat 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina, the Rev. Robert Schaedel officiating.

The body was cremated. Interment will be in Rossette Cemetery, Sylvan Grove.
