Mrs. Peets was born Wilma Martina Hill on July 3, 1921 in Salina, the daughter of Martin Edward and Willma Martin (Andrews) Hill. She was a homemaker. She married Ernest M. Peets on December 2, 1939 at the old courthouse in Salina. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Ladies of the Moose and the First Christian Church of Salina.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Alice Swisher and Mildred Murphy.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest M. of Salina; a daughter, Almena Pearl Fritz of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Lisbeth Armes of Salina; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Reverends Greg and Kim Rea officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Salina.

Visitation will be form 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
