Ms. Phetteplace was born Sheryl Lee Rice on July 19, 1949, in Salina. She worked in the bindery for the printing business for 19 years.

Survivors include a brother, Charles “Butch” Rice of Salina; and her mother, Phyllis D. Rice, of Salina.

Inurment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
