Mrs. Phillips was born Dec. 23, 1919, in Severance, to Jesse and Florence (Neal) Summers. She was a homemaker.

She married Harry Phillips on April 6, 1941, in Carrollton, Mo. Her hobbies included flowers, gardening and creating seasonal decorations for the corner of Prescott and Santa Fe.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harry Sr., in 1992; four brothers, Charles, John, Herbert and Kenneth; and her stepfather, John Faherty.

Survivors include two sons, Harry Phillips Jr. and wife Sue of Salina and Randy Phillips and wife Debbie of Hiawatha; one grandson, Jeremy Kahrs and wife Jennifer of Hutchinson; and one great-grandson, Evan Kahrs of Hutchinson.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, 843 Lewis, Salina, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the In Touch Group of First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
