Mr. Ritchey was born Jan. 27, 1934, in Connley. He was a foreman and machinist for Premier Pneumatics.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of Salina; a son, David of Kit Carson, Colo.; three daughters, Linda Ovalle, Cynthia Goben and Carla Glessner, all of Salina; two brothers, Raymond of Dumas, Texas, and Robert of Dalhart, Texas; two sisters, Helen Tabor of Compton, Calif., and Lorraine Stevens of Mineral Springs, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at University United Methodist Church, Salina. Inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church or St. Jude's Children's Hospitals.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at University United Methodist Church, where the family will receive friends in the church sanctuary reception area.
