Mr. Rojas was born August 11, 1926 in Kanopolis. He was a retired molder for Metalcast, Salina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pelar and Cornelia; a sister, Dorothy Espinosa; and two brothers, Lupe and Frank.

Survivors include his wife, Olivia, of the home; a son, Ernest W. of Salina; two daughters, Connie J. Hopper and husband Hershel of Niles and Amelia M. Rojas and husband Eric of Salina; a brother, Jim and wife Bert of Kanopolis; five sisters, Hope Gonzales and husband Vincent of Topeka, Louisa Thomas and husband Tom and Eleanor Fernandez and husband Joseph, all of Salina, and Julia Meehan and Josephine Fernandez, both of Wichita; two grandchildren, James and Erick Hopper; and a great-grandchild, Elisabeth Hopper.

A rosary will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, Father Allen Scheer officiating. A private inurnment will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation.
