Mrs. Romeiser was born Feryl I. Spaniol on April 22, 1910, in Plevna. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A., in 2004.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Rex Romeiser and wife Carol of Salina; a daughter, Nancy Bressler and husband Steve of Salina; six grandchildren, Clay Romeiser and wife Melissa of Dallas, Nyla Romeiser and companion Barbara Gutsch of Salina, Dr. Ryan Romeiser and wife Ariana of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lynn Swenney and husband Stuart of Linwood, Lori Hinnen and husband David of Towanda and Rex Swartz and wife Brittney of Prairie Village; four stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Horn and husband David of Edmond, Okla., Phillip Bressler and wife Lailan of Overland Park, Molly Kerr of Westwood and Amy Belew and husband Wesley of Fort Lee, N.J.; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church, Salina Presbyterian Manor or Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
