Mrs. Rountree was born Audrey L. Spreier on June 12, 1931, in Burdett. She was a homemaker.

A good loving wife of 56 years to her husband, LaVal, and the cherished mother of Valene (Rountree) Noland and Ricky Rountree, both of Wichita. She is survived also by her two sisters, Leora Hazlett of Lee Summit, Missouri and Thelma Amburn, of Farmington, New Mexico.

Her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later undetermined date.

She will be deeply missed.
