Mrs. Scott was born Suzanna Lou Parrish on June 25, 1917, in Junction City. She was a self-employed piano and vocal instructor in Salina for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D., in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Mark of Manhattan; a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Byrnes of La Mirada, Calif.; a nephew, Steve Byrnes of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a niece, Susan Smith of Irvine, Calif.; and two stepgrandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 122 N. Eighth, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
