Mrs. Stenfors was born Genevieve I. Steele,on Jan. 31, 1918, in Trenton, Mo., to Frank and Osha Emily Dudley Steele. She was a homemaker and All Star Lanes counter worker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest "Bud," in 2000; an infant son, Frank; a brother, Leland; and her parents.

Survivors include a son, John and wife Jean of Pittsburg, Texas; a daughter, Judy Kneubuhl and husband Don of Smolan; five grandchildren, Karen Hay and husband Rex, Shane Neal and wife Lora, Marty Stenfors and wife Jennifer, Darren and David Kneubuhl and wife Laura; and seven great-grandchildren, Shelby, Abby, Ben and Montgomery Hay, Sophia and Isaac Neal, and AnnaMae Feigle.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. in Roselawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina.
