Mr. Swanson was born April 12, 1939, in Salina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris E. and Irene A. (Stenfors) Swanson.

He is survived by an aunt, Shirley V. Keeler of Assaria; and numerous cousins.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Assaria Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
