Neysa D. Bolby Toner
November 16, 1930 - July 11, 2007

GARDEN CITY -- Neysa D. Bolby Toner, 76, Garden City, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007.

Mrs. Toner was born Neysa D. Bolby on Nov. 16, 1930, in New Cambria to Samuel Arthur and Stella Ruth (Kurtz). She was a labor and delivery nurse’s aide for almost 33 years at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City.

She married Jim on Aug. 12, 1950, in Salina. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, going to casinos, sewing, cooking and yard work. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Garden City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, in 1998; her parents; an infant daughter, Neysa D.; seven sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include her companion, Leon Hindman, of Garden City; a son, James E. Jr. of Melvindale, Mich.; four daughters, Sharon Baughmanand husband Charlie of Peggs, Okla., Elaina Pulliam and husband Jeff of Oregon, Mo., Terri Pankow of Tescott and Annie Harman of Garden City; a brother, Floyd Bolby of Salina; three sisters, Lorraine Beach and Doris Ball, both of Salina, and Vivian Anderson, Duluth, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.

There will be no visitation.
