Linnea Dell Tromble
August 22, 1919 - September 19, 2007

Linnea Dell Tromble, 88, Salina, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007.

Mrs. Tromble was born Linnea Dell Magnuson on Aug. 22, 1919, in Marquette to Arthur and Dell Magnuson. She was a secretary for State Soil Conservation Service for 16 years. She was previously a cook for Kipp School, Kipp.

She graduated from Brown Mackie College, Salina. She was a member of Kipp Presbyterian Church, where she was a superintendent of children’s Sunday school, adult Sunday school teacher and an adult Bible study group teacher. She was also a member of Christian Women’s Club and Immanuel Lutheran Church. She participated in Sunflower Day Care Center, Salina, and Margaret S. Parmly and Parmly Nursing Home, Chisago City, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Eugene, in 1980; and a brother, Leroy Magnuson, in 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Grahn and husband Lee of Salina and Betty Bonin of Wyoming, Minn.; three grandchildren, Sheri Graham, Terry Grahn and Christine Bonin; and nine great-grandchildren, Nathan Lopez, Brandon Bonin, Heather and Alexis Gabrielson, Ryann and Levi Grahn and Chelsea, Ashley and David Graham.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 255 S. Seventh, Salina. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Smoky Hill Cemetery, Lindsborg.

Memorials may be made to Sunflower Day Care Center, Salina, or the church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the church.
