Mr. Vanderbilt was born Nov. 22, 1941, in Culver. He worked in the automotive industry.

Survivors include two sons, Jim A. of Lawrence and Glenn D. of Albany, Ky.; a daughter, Diana M. Corbett of Haysville; a brother, Charles of Brookville; two sisters, Phyllis Banta of McPherson and Rosalie Harris of Salina; his mother, Pauline Watson, of Brookville; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Glendale.

Memorials may be made to Kansas Humane Society.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the mortuary.
