Mrs. Walle was born Marjorie Morrison on Sept. 3, 1914 in Salina. She was a newsroom employee at the Salina Journal for 22 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 2000; two brothers; and seven sisters.

Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Herb Walle and Russell Burger, both of Salina; two sisters-in-law, Geneva Walle of Minneapolis and Fernne Walle of Salina; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and inurnment will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, near Culver, with the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating.

Memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
