Mrs. West was born Elenora Geist on March 31, 1923, in Park, to Joseph and Helen Geist. She was a sales representative for Luzier Cosmetics. She was married to Alfred West on Sept. 21, 1944, in Sequin. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Hubertina Werth; and a brother Wilhelm.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred, of the home; a son, Raymond of Merriam; a daughter, Lorraine Bengel of Overland Park; two brothers, Alfred of Hoxie and Ernest of Dodge City; two sisters, Rosa Turner of Salina and Leona Peters of Aurora, Colo.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, with the Rev. Allen Scheer officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina.
