Clarence E. “Clancy” Wilson, 61, Salina, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

Mr. Wilson was born Oct. 5, 1945, in Great Bend. He was a car man in the mechanical division of the Santa Fe Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Wilson; a daughter, Cynthia Stump; and a sister, Martha Nussbaum.

Survivors include his wife, Connie J., of Salina; two sons, James and Michael, both of Salina; four stepsons, Blaine Reed, Michael Asbridge and Douglas Asbridge, all of Salina, and Jerry Asbridge Jr., of Colorado; four daughters, Patricia Ackerman of Abilene, Susan Hughes of Salina, Gena Fox of Colorado and Rae Jean Wilson of Texas; three stepdaughters, Lee Vitto, Winnie Hall and Laura Rice, all of Salina; two brothers, Bruce of Salina and Richard of Wichita; two sisters, Kathy Jones of Arizona and Mary Ternes of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren; and 18 stepgreat-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Ron Bowell officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Kaye Pogue Hospice Center in Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
