Ms. Williams was born Shirley M. Weir on March 23, 1937, in Salina. She was a sales consultant for Complete Floor Covering of Salina, retiring in 2006.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mervin and Jerry; and a sister, Neola Rose.

Survivors include a son, Allen of Salina; three daughters, Sue Beltz of Palmdale, Calif., Sheryl Harrison of Salina and Carol Shank of Minneapolis; two brothers, Bill of Griffin, Ga., and Charles of Salina; three sisters, Letha Whitmarsh of Angier, N.C., Mary Rose of Topeka and Jean Bolby of Salina; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Shirley M. Williams Memorial Fund.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
