Robert Emory Armour, 86, Salina, died Feb. 9, 2008. Mr. Armour was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Niles. He graduated from Solomon
High School and attended Kansas
Wesleyan and Emporia State College. He was employed by the FBI from 1941 to 1961, retiring as assistant office manager of the Buffalo, N.Y., FBI office. He managed housing for the elderly at Johnstown Towers
and Oakdale Plaza. He is survived by his wife, Elinor; a son, Gary & spouse, Janice, Salina; and a daughter, Susan Hine and spouse, Rod, of Concordia.
There are seven grandchildren
and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at the Ryan Mortuary,
where family will receive friends the hour before the service. Inurnment will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials are suggested
to Hospice of Salina.
