Mrs. Ashton was born Linda Susan Forristal on March 12, 1950, in Salina. She was a loan officer for the Mortgage Company, Salina.

Survivors include her husband, Hank, of Salina; a son, Henry Shane Ashton of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Kimberly D. Ashton of Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers, Ron Forristal of Arvada, Colo., and Dan Forristal of Tacoma, Wash.; and her parents, Dennis E. and Mary K. Forristal, of Salina.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorial may be made to Hospice of Salina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
