Mrs. Beisner was born Matilda Ann Cordell on April, 29, 1915, in Tipton, Kan. She retired as a clerk, working for the Social Security Administration in Salina for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, in 1990.

She is survived by one son, John, of Oakton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 East Cloud St., Salina, Kan., with Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St., Salina. Vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the church or to Sacred Heart Jr./Sr. High School.
