Tammy Jay Bouslaugh (Hanson)
January 28, 1958 - December 13, 2008

Tammy Jay Bouslaugh (Hanson), 50, Hoskins, formerly of Salina, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Faith Regional Health Services.

Tammy was born on Jan. 28, 1958, in Salina, the daughter of Dan and Patsy (Owens) Hanson Sr. She was raised in Salina and graduated from high school. Following graduation, she traveled for a while before returning to Salina, where she was employed at Tony’s Pizza.

Tammy moved to Norfolk in 2004. She was employed at Tyson Foods. On Oct. 23, 2005, Tammy married Chris Bouslaugh in Madison. They made their home in Hoskins. She attended Northeast Community College, and she was a member of Heartland Baptist Church. She enjoyed being around people and especially her children and grandchildren. She also liked to ride motorcycles.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband; her two children, Joshua Hanson and Tanesha Hanson, both of Salina; six grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Dan and Tammy Hanson, of Irving, Texas; two stepbrothers, Tom Platten and John Platten; a stepsister, Sarah Are; her father and mother-in-law, Joe and Bev Bouslaugh, of Hoskins; and her sister-in-law and husband, Sherri and Matt Montgomery, of Hoskins.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
