She was a farm homemaker and member of the EHU club and Pinochle Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Brightbill, in 1986.

Survivors include three sons, Fred and wife Ardyth, William and wife Debbie, and Robert and wife Terry, all of Salina; one daughter, Judy Heglund and husband Jim, of Assaria; 11 grandchildren, Scott, Mark and Trace Brightbill, Nicole Wisbey, Brad and Jason Brightbill, Christy Rodeman and Michelle Claussen, and Robin, Chad and Wendy Brightbill; 16 great-grandchildren, Laney, Mason, Lacrista, Cole, Chance, Kayla, Macie, MacKencie, Mallorie, Brandon, Ethan, Callie, Caleb, Camille, Carlie and Chloe.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov 22, at Ryan Mortuary in Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina. Memorial gifts may be given to Hospice of Salina or Presbyterian Manor of Salina. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary.
