James L. Brown, 72, of Salina, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. He was born to Fred and Eunice (Nelson) Brown, July 12, 1936, in Salina. He was a graduate of Salina High School, Class of 1954. He was an ordained Lutheran minister and pastored in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. He is survived by a son, Philip Brown of Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Greta Brown of Raytown, MO, and several cousins. Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Salina. Inurnment in the Falun Cemetery, Falun. Memorial are to the church or the American Lung Association. Cremation was chosen, there is no visitation. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, is in charge. |
