Richard E. "Dick" Courter, 64, Salina, died Monday, February 25, 2008. Mr. Courter was born November 28, 1943 in Salina, the son of Richard J. and Inga E.(Leece) Courter. He was a partner in Royal Tire Company, Inc., Salina for over 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church, Salina and a charter member and past president of the Smoky Hill Audubon Society. Survivors include his wife Anne, of the home, his son, Richard F. Courter and wife Pam, of Canyon City, Colorado and his brother, Bruce L. Courter of Salina. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 3, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church, 122 N. 8th, Salina. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina 67401. |
