Faye V. Crough, age 99, died August 14, 2008 peacefully in her sleep after a short Illness at Salina, KS. Mrs. Crough was born September 23, 1908 at Solomon to John and Minnie (Wetzel) Harder. She was a home maker and mother to her children. She is preceded in death by her husband Vincent M.-1969, and two grandsons, Jeremiah Wilson-1986 and David Schoof-2007. She is survived by sons, V.E. "Mike" Crough of Salina, James L. "Jim" Crough of Salina, Curtis V. "Bud" Crough of Rockport, TX, Gerold "Jerry" Crough of Weslaco, TX and Robert "Bob" Crough of Salina; two daughters, Mary Pennacchi of Seattle, WA and Barbara Sorrentino of Kansas City, MO.; twenty-five grandchildren, and many great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Solomon with Father John Wolesky officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Solomon. A Vigil/Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St. Salina, with Father Allen Scheer officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to OCCK of Salina to benefit Faye's grandson Chris White. |
