Floyd R. Doty, 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at Lakeside R.V. Park near Assaria. Floyd was born Dec. 11, 1932, in Salina, the son of Raymond and Stella Percival Doty. He was a driver for National BY Products, Gary Johnson Trucking and a team driver with his spouse for M. Bruenger Trucking. He was also an avid bingo player. He married Greta Marie Owens on Jan. 11, 1964, in Nowata, Okla. She survives him, as do his sons, Steve and Craig, Salina, and Randy and spouse Ellen, Wichita; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Norma Windholz, Minneapolis; and two brothers, Jim, Apache Junction, Ariz., and Terry and spouse Donna, Salina. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the mortuary.
