Mrs. Doughman was born Janice Elaine Pedersen on July 15, 1948, in Salina. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil A. and Lela M. (Shirk) Pedersen.

She is survived by her husband, Gary R., of the home; two sons, Chad of Salina and Brad of Canton, KS; one daughter, Heather Barr of Salina; one brother, Jerry W. Pedersen of Salina; one sister, Patricia M. Arnold of Salina; and four grandchildren, Madison Doughman, Bronté Doughman, Braylee Doughman and Brayden Doughman.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St., Salina, the Rev. Greg Lombard Rea officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. There are no memorials suggested. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
