He was a retired divisional sales manager for Schwan’s Food Manufacturing in California. He also had sold insurance in Kansas for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Joan L., of the home; one daughter, Valerie Gamage of Salina; two sons, Robert E. Gamage II and wife Robyn of Humble, TX, and Kenneth L. Gamage and wife Rita of Germany; one sister, Marilyn Nolan of McComb, Ill.; five grandchildren, Robert E. Gamage III, Joshua C. Gamage, Jordan D. Gamage, Victoria E. Gamage and Luca M. Gamage.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Ryan Morutary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, KS 67401.

A graveside service will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb, Ill.

Memorials are suggested to Saline County Dialysis Center, in care of the family.
