Robert W. “Bob” Golladay, 81, Salina, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at the Salina Regional Health Center. Mr. Golladay was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Mitchell County, Kan. He was an engineering technician for the State of Kansas Department of Transportation, retiring in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Deloris, of the home; one son, Chris; one granddaughter, Christina D. Golladay, Beloit; and two sisters, Betty Krier, Beloit, and Joan Thomas, Hays. The Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, with Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Beloit, with Father Joseph Kieffer officiating. Vigil and rosary service will be at 7 p.m. today, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, KS, 67401. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary Church Endowment Fund, in care of the funeral home. |
