He graduated from Salina South High School and Hutchinson Community College before moving to Weatherford, OK, where he worked for the 3M Company for 15 years. He returned to Salina in 1993 and worked for the City of Salina Traffic Department and Sears retail store. He was a member of Trinity Luthern Church.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Jara, of Weatherford, OK; parents, Warren and Marilyn Griffin of Salina; brother, Bryan and wife Sara; and three nieces Allison, Ashlyn and Abbey Griffin, all of Overland Park.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Trinity Luthern Church, 702 S. Ninth St., Salina, KS 67401, with Pastor Robert Schaedel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the church or American Diabetes Association and may be left in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, KS 67401.
