He was preceded in death by his wife, Erika in 2002, his daughter Suzanne M. Haley in 1960 and three sisters, Edith, Cecilia and Sandra. Survivors include four sons, Roy R. Riley, Vic Riley, Steven R. Riley and Timothy P. Haley; one daughter, Monika R. DeHerrera; three sisters, Katherine Luker, Evelyn Henry and Joyce Gebhart; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Connor, Shawna, Noelle, Brianna, Amber, Matt, and Brennan and one great-grandchild, Sophia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Salina Animal Shelter.
