Mrs. Hassman was born Marlene Rae Alt on June 28, 1937, in Herington.She was co-founder and vice president of Hassman Termite and Pest Control in Salina until her death.

Survivors include her husband, Howard, of the home; two sons, Mark and wife Mary and Michael and wife Angie, all of Salina; a brother, John Alt of Wichita; and three grandchildren, Amanda J, Hassman, Ashley M. Hassman and Andrew H. Hassman, all of Salina.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ninth and Crawford, Salina, Pastors Robert Schaedel and Charles Adams officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
