John James Haugh, age 80, died May 27, 2008. He was born Nov. 10, 1927, in the Bronx, N.Y. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School, Manhattan College and received a master of education degree from Colorado University. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1948. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; five sons, Shawn, Brian and wife Nance, Kyle and wife Trina, and Brendan, all of Salina, and Kerry and wife Drew, Waco, Texas; a daughter, Kelly Durkin and husband Kevin, Waco; and 17 grandchildren. The funeral Mass will be held privately by the family. Ryan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. |
