Iona L. Jackson, age 88, of Salina, died Dec. 29, 2008. She was born Iona L. Andrews on Sept. 1, 1920, in McCune. She was a retired bookkeeper for Montgomery Wards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Mason and husband Fred of Santee, S.C.: two granddaughters, Jessica and husband Ryan Intchauspe and Melessa Mason; and two great-grandchildren, Megan Mason and Brandon Huston.
A private inurnment service will be in Falun Cemetery, Falun. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Salina Regional Health Foundation. Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St., Salina, is handling arrangements.
