Doris Elaine Johnson, 79, Salina, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008. She was born May 12, 1928, in Ottawa County. She was a machinist at Beech Aircraft for 23 years and a member of the April Sidebanders International CB radio club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Johnson, in 1996. She is survived by a brother, Danny Startzman; a niece, Beverly Fisher and husband Keith; a nephew, Eric “Sam” Startzman and wife Ruth; four great-nephews; and two great-nieces. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, KS 67401. |
