William H. “Bill” Jolly III, 69, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center, Salina. Mr. Jolly was born Dec. 16, 1939, in Wichita. He was a master electrician for the city of Salina, Bi-Center, until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Jolly Jr. and Florence Mae Jolly; and one grandson, Garret Provance, in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Gayle, of the home; one son, William H. Jolly IV, of Salina; one daughter, Jerri Lynn Begnoche Mann, of Salina; one stepson, Donnie Provance, of Abilene; two stepdaughters, Kelly Lynn Prout and Rhonda Dewey, both of Abilene; one brother, Kenneth, of Wichita; three sisters, Carolyn Lundgrin, of Salina, Barbara Mecham, of Salina, and Beth Reed, of Hutchinson; and 10 grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Southern Baptist Church, Ohio and Magnolia St., Salina 67401, with the Rev Mike Murry officiating. Graveside inurnment service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, rural Abilene. Memorials are suggested to Kaye Pogue Hospice Center or the church. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401, is in charge of arrangements. |
