She married Roy G. Kruger on Jan. 23, 1949.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Brian, in 2004; and four brothers, Wilford P. McCabe, Hobart McCabe, Harold E. “Pete” McCabe and Robert B. McCabe.

She is survived by her husband, Roy, Salina; granddaughter, Jessica Kruger, Independence, Mo.; two brothers, Charles W. McCabe, Salina, and Max R. McCabe, Monticello, Ark.; and two sisters, Patricia A. Conley, San Angelo, Texas, and Marilyn K. Shephard, San Antonio.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, Aug. 11, 2008, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday prior to the service.
