She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Laffere; a brother, Wayne Wise; two sisters, Madeline Rischling and Helen Ringle; a son-in-law, Wayne Talbott; a daughter-in-law, Gaylene Laffere and a step-daughter, JoAnn Wiertz.

Survivors include two sons, Vernon and wife Darlene of Bonner Springs and Jerry and wife Jackie of Santa Ana, CA; a daughter, Myrna Talbott of Shalimar, FL; eight grandchildren, Mike Laffere, Susan Rowden, David Laffere, Sam Laffere, Brent Laffere, Randy Talbott, Terry Talbott and Lorie Fagan; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Golden Living Center, Lansing, in care of the mortuary. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
