She was preceded in death by her son Charlie Baird in 1986, brother Bobby Geske and sister Carol Knight. Survivors include her son, Randy Baird and companion Mari Anna Maginness; daughter, Jeanie Bragg and husband Michael; two brothers, Harry Geske and wife Patti and Tom Geske; two grandsons, Jason Baird and wife Stephanie and Justin Baird and wife Megan; five great-grandchildren, Hunter and Bryna and Charlie, Drew and Brooklyne; and her significant other, Jerry R. Kobbeman.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2008 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, with Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure or Hospice of Salina in care of the mortuary.
