ABILENE -- Ronald Gene Miller, 64, Abilene, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008. He was born the son of John and Iris Miller on April 10, 1944, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He worked in sheet metal assembly and inspection for 30 years at Raytheon Aircraft, Salina. He also owned and operated Miller Tree Service, Salina, for 8 years. Survivors include his wife, Lula Barbara Miller, Abilene; four sons, Robert Burbank Jr., Spring Hill, Fla., Jarrod and John Miller, both of Ellis, and Chad Taylor, Abilene; three daughters, Christina Howell, Kimberly Leiker and Kayleigh Miller, all of Abilene; two brothers, Gary, Salina, and Jack, Greeley, Colo.; and thirteen grandchildren, Jeremy, Bobby, Adam, Chase, Amanda, Gabriel, Brian, Peyton, Matthew, Morgan, Megan, Loren and Justin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Christian Center, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. Memorial contributions are to Tammy Walker Cancer Center, Salina, in care of the mortuary. |
