Robin S. Rauh Miller, 77, Salina, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at her home. Mrs. Miller was born June 25, 1931, in Hastings, NE. She was a resident of Salina since 1954. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Don K. Rauh, in 1963; and her second husband, Elden V. Miller, in 1998. Survivors include four sons, Creighton “Duke” (Kelly), of Kennewick, WA, Lyle (Christine), of Tallahassee, FL, Thomas (Jennifer), of Tucson, AZ, and William (Deborah), of Amarillo, TX; a daughter, Ruth, of San Miguel de Allende, GTO, Mexico; stepdaughters, Lynne Cavanaugh, of Albuquerque, NM, and Jean Liesmann Ungar, of Port Charlotte, FL; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends. Mrs. Miller was a 1952 graduate of the University of Nebraska, member of Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church and active supporter of Al-Anon. She enjoyed time spent with the Kansas Wildflower Society, Master Gardeners and as a tutor for the English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Little House Adult Learning Center. Robin was a former member of the Advisory Committee at Presbyterian Manor and a former trustee for Hospice of Salina. Robin’s memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Christ Cathedral, 138 S. 8th Street, with the Very Reverend Jerry Jones officiating. A private interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Christ Cathedral Montessori School, Ashby House of Salina or to Hospice of Salina. Ryan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. |
