Mr. Montgomery was born near Gypsum, KS, and was a farmer. He was a World War II Army Medical Corp and Infantry veteran of the Italian Theater.

He is survived by a sister, Marvel Lacy, Salina; and a brother, Lowell Montgomery, Assaria.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Ryan Mortuary, where the family will receive friends prior to the service. Burial will be private in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, near Kipp.
