Margaret Anne Parker, 85, of Salina, died May 8, 2008. She was born December 16, 1922 in Mankato, the daughter of Ralph S. Drake & Bernice M. Widrig. She worked as secretary for the personnel department of Beech Aircraft Corp., in Salina. She was manager of the A.S.C.S. office in Osborne and manager of the Osborne Chamber of Commerce. She was member of Trinity Methodist Church, Salina; past secretary to the board of the Salina Youth Care Home; past secretary of the Beech Employees Club, Salina; charter member and held all offices of the Upsilon Tau Delta Federated Women's Club, Osborne; served as volunteer organist for the Osborne Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church in Salina; volunteer for the Salina Art Center, the Smoky Hill Museum and the S.R.H.C. Auxiliary. She married V. Robert Parker, January 31, 1951 in the Osborne Methodist Church. Survivors include, two sons, Daniel Parker & wife Sue of Salina, and Kelly Parker & wife Sandy of Spring Lake, Mich.; a daughter, Robin Parker and companion John Clark of Reston, VA; one sister, Shirley Lehnen of Gainesville, FL; three grandchildren, Katie Parker, Drake Parker, and Will Parker. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Salina. Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Osborne City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to The Trinity United Methodist Church, The Salina Art Center, or to Donor's Choice. Viewing will be at the church, Tuesday, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
