George F. Redman Jr., 89, Salina, died Saturday, March 29, 2008. Mr Redman was born April 9, 1918, in Wilson. He was the service manager and mechanic for Ryder Truck Rental, for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was preceded in death by a son, William F. “Willie” Redman, in 1993. Survivors: wife, Mary Jane, of Salina; son, Thomas Redman of Independance, Mo.; daughter, Debra Redman of Salina; sister, Beverly Bailey of Reynoldsberg, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. There will be a private family inurnment in Ellsworth Cemetery, Ellsworth. There will be no visitation. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, is handling arrangements. |
