Francisco Garcia “Pelon” Rodriguez, 22, Salina, died July 4, 2008. He was born the son of Martin Garcia Baca and Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez, on September 16, 1985, in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked for Russell Stover Candies in Abilene and for an insulation contractor in McPherson. Survivors include his parents; brothers, Armando, Jose Luis, Victor, Marco and Gerardo, all of Salina, and Pedro and Alfredo of Mexico; sisters, Susana, Maria Del Carmen, Carolina, Celia, Raquel, Gabriela and Eliza, of Salina and Mexico; grandparents, Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez, Leonor Martinez, Pablo Garcia and Soledad Baca, all of Mexico. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Vigil service will be 8 p.m. today at the church. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina. Memorial contributions may be given to Sacred Heart Cathedral. |
