She was born May 26, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Pete and Mattie (Ghoston) Shelton.

She is survived by a son, Tyrone Morris of Salina; three brothers, Claudine Shelton of Salina, David Shelton of Liberal and John Shelton of Pueblo, Colorado; a sister, Patricia Shelton of Wichita; and a granddaughter, Tahlia Morris.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, Kansas.

Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the family and left in care of the mortuary.
