Doris E. Tillberg, 69, Salina, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008. She was born Oct. 19, 1938, in Lindsborg to Walter and Ellen (Anderson) Nelson. She married Carl Tillberg on Aug. 25, 1963, in Salina. She was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Bavaria E.H.U. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Irma Vidricksen. Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the home; two daughters, Pam McClure and husband Greg of Manhattan and Ingrid Oen and husband Scott of Topeka; a son, Alan Tillberg and wife Mindy of Minneapolis; and ten grandchildren, Jacob Tillberg, Kelsey McClure, Morgan McClure, Samantha McClure, Ryan McClure, Krystene Oen, Christopher Oen, Luke Oen, Joey Oen and Olivia Oen. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Salina with the Rev. Kent Happel officiating. Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. today at the mortuary where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests memorials to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Kitchen Fund in care of the mortuary. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, Kansas 67401, is in charge of arrangements. |
