COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Russell L. Tinkler, 56, Colorado Springs, died Friday, April 25, 2008. He was born July 20, 1951, in Salina, KS. He was a graduate of Salina High School, class of 1969. He was an over-the-road truck driver for 15 years and worked for Seward Motor Freight, Seward, NE. Survivors include his wife, Judi, and son, Jonathan, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Jessica of Colorado Springs; three brothers, Royce and Randy, Salina, and Ryan, Raymore, MO; twin sisters, Deana Stout, Salina, and Diana Carriger, Topeka; and two grandsons, Darien and Chance, Albuquerque. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th Street, Salina, KS. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will greet visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are to the American Lung Association. Inurnment will be at a later date. |
