Delores Lucille Walker, 89, of Brookville, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008. She was born Delores Lucille Little, July 19, 1918 in Beverly, Kansas. She worked as clerk for the City of Brookville, She was head cook for U.S.D. 307 and also was cook for the Brookville Hotel. She was a member of the Brookville United Methodist Church and the Brookville Senior Citizens Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Walker in 1994. Survivors include; three sons, Stan Walker & wife Charlene of Luray, Ted Walker & wife Jean of Brookville, and Ken Walker & wife Marlene of Salina; a daughter, Charlotte Eilrich of Westminister, CO; a brother, Billie Little of Augusta, KS; eight grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 10:30 AM Thursday, Feb 28, 2008 at the Brookville United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will be in the Prairie Mound Cemetery, Beverly. Memorials may be given to the Church or the Brookville City Park. There will be no visitation due to cremation. Ryan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. |
